Is there a cancellation policy?
Yes, Tours must be cancelled at least 72 hours before the tour to receive a refund. Please call 828-233-5006 to cancel.
Is there an age requirement for the tour?
Yes, all attendees must be at least 21 years of age.
Do I have to purchase tickets in advance? Is cash accepted?
Tickets must be purchased in advance as the tours can sell out quickly. Please reserve early to get your preferred day. Cash can be accepted with special arrangements. Please call 828-233-5006.
What if it’s raining or snowing?
The tours are held rain or shine. Please check weather conditions and dress accordingly. Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be rescheduled. Occasionally, we will reserve the right to cancel a tour if there are not at least four participants. If this occurs, we will refund your tickets or reschedule your tour.
How much beer is served on the tour?
There are approximately 3 to 4 tastings at 3 to 4 different breweries. In other words, there will be plenty… we suggest a solid meal before you join us!
I live in Asheville. Is the tour fun for locals?
Absolutely! On our tours, we get the insider’s view into the process and backstory that makes these watering holes “classic” among locals.  It’s also a great way to entertain your visiting guests!
Are bathrooms available on the tour?
Yes, there are numerous opportunities to use the restroom.
Is the tour wheelchair accessible?
Our walking tours are wheelchair accessible.
Are gift certificates available?
Yes! You can order one by visiting this page.
Can I book a private tour?
All tours and custom tours are available privately. Please contact us and we will respond within 24 hours.
Does the tour end at the same place we meet?
The tour ends at or near the starting point. Maps and/or a return walk are available.
Can I take photos?
Yes, we love and encourage it! Please be courteous of other tour participants if you plan on publishing your photos.
Is there parking near the starting point?
Our starting points for the tours vary, but there are many garages in downtown Asheville that are very close to these points.  Public lots convenient to our locations include Rankin Street, Civic Center, and Biltmore Avenue Garages. Street parking and private lots are abundant in the area too!
Is gratuity included?
Gratuities are not necessary for the breweries and their staff. Your tour guides are always appreciative of tips, although they are not required.
What else should I know?
Asheville Brewery tours acts only as an agent for the companies that supply beverages on the tours and cannot be held responsible for losses, delays, accidents, injuries, and delays caused by persons engaged in carrying out the services provided by the tour. Photos and/or video may be taken on the tour… please let us know if you would prefer not to be photographed and/or filmed.
